Our Perspective on Social Networking

 Editors Desk

As readers may know, TuftScope content is available both on its main website, through Twitter, and to a lesser extent on Facebook. As the academic year begins for our staff readers will notice a gradual slowdown in material published on this weblog and to the Facebook account. We will, however, regularly update our Twitter account with links to articles, papers, and news that we find to be particularly interesting and relevant. Twitter allows us to reach a large audience with ideas and concepts far more quickly than the weblog or the print publication. It does not allow us to post commentary or analysis or to effectively share multimedia presentations and videos.

This Fall we will be converting the central TuftScope webpage into a portal that will link to our multiple resource websites. We hope that these changes will make the journal more accessible to the public than it has ever been over the last eight years. As always, the staff welcomes readers comments at TuftScope@gmail.com.
